The Book of Revelation is the final book of the New Testament. When studied along with the Old Testament Book of Daniel, the Book of Revelation presents a vivid portrayal of God’s ultimate victory over Satan and sin. Because some parts of the book are written in “apocalyptic” language, it has its interpretive challenges. However, the Book of Revelation is the only book of the Bible that offers a blessing to those who read and obey it! Sunday at 5:00 PM, we will begin our new sermon series on the Book of Revelation entitled: “The Revelation of Christ: An Overview of the Book of Revelation: God’s Battle Plan to Cleanse the Earth from Evil.” Sunday’s sermon will be: “An Overview of the Book of Revelation.” Thank you for forwarding these sermon study guides to those you think might benefit from them. We are happy to add new addresses to our email list!!

In chapter 1:1, John said the purpose of his writing was to explain “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.”

The orginal recipients of this letter were the seven churches of Asia as listed in Revelation 2-3.

The things that will take place after the Church age – Revelation 4-22.
