Thank you for your prayers for us during the 2022 Prophetic Witness Movement International Conference in Bournemouth, England. According to the responses received, perhaps our greatest ministry was the “encouragement of the brethren” to remain steadfast in their faith in light of our Lord’s imminent return. Sadly, the church in the UK is becoming increasingly apostate. According to those attendees we interviewed, most of the churches seem like social clubs and entertainment venues rather than places where God is worshipped in Spirit and in truth. The LBGT agenda is not only embraced, it is supported, and those who are not in agreement with it are not welcome. Those faithful saints who gave sacrificially to build the buildings, provide for the leadership, and raise the funds for the ministry and missions have been relegated to the rear of the church, or removed from the membership as those who no longer matter. One dear lady said while she was thankful for her small “in person” church, she is very grateful for the online ministries that provide what is lacking in her spiritual food, and that included the HBC worship services. She wrote, “I pray for the US in general and preachers such as yourself. May your works continue to grow and flourish in spite of the opposition. It is so needed.” On June 5, I will continue our new series of sermons: “Steadfastness in Light of our Lord’s Imminent Return,” and the title of this sermon is, “The Next Event on God’s Prophetic Calendar.”

The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Christians at Thessalonica to clarify the timeline of events that begin with the removal of the believers from the earth, the revealing of the Antichrist, the seven years of tribulation, and the return of Jesus Christ to this earth as the King of Kings and Lord of Lord.
Notice the parallels of our Lord’s words and the words of the Apostle Paul.
Jesus made three promises to His disciples:
Forty-days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven, and for the last 2000 years, He has been preparing our room in the Father’s house. Soon, He will step out on the porch of heaven and call His Bride to “come forth,” (Revelation 4:1) and as the Apostle Paul said, in the “twinkling of an eye” those who are dressed and ready will be transported into glory to live with the Lord forever!
Maranatha!
The English word “rapture” is taken from the Latin term, “rapio,” which was used to translate the Greek verb “harpazo,’ which describes a violent act such as to “caught up,” or to be “snatched away.”
Some of the Thessalonian believers were suffering such severe persecution, they thought the day of the Lord had come.
The Foundation for the Rapture – Vs. 14-15a – “If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus, for this we say by the word of the Lord.”
The Clarification of the Rapture – Vs. 15b – “That we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.”
The Illumination of the Rapture – Vs. 16-17 –
