The challenge of all spiritual leaders, but especially those who are called to preach and teach the Word of God, is to be a living example of everything they proclaim as truth. The Apostle Paul achieved that goal. Sunday evening at 6:00 PM, we will continue our study of Paul’s incredible letter to the Christians in Rome. In his book Spiritual Leadership, Henry Blackaby defined true, biblical leadership as that super-natural ability God gives to a person to motivate God’s people onto God’s agenda.

He was GRACIOUS in dealing with the people.

He was BOLD in reminding the people of their calling.

He was FAITHFUL to the call of God to minister.

The purpose of the minister is to bring his hearers to the point where they will offer THEMSELVES as a living sacrifice unto God. (John 15:16)

He gloried ONLY in the things that pertained to CHRIST.

He never lost sight of his CALLING.
