One of the “A-HAH” moments during my studies at Columbia Bible College was to learn about the Seven Dispensations of the Bible. These are distinct periods in history where God relates to humanity in different ways, namely: “Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace/Church, The Millennial Kingdom . Understanding these dispensations is crucial to interpreting biblical prophecy and understanding God’s plan for humanity. Obviously, we are living the age of grace, the age of the Church, and the age of the Holy Spirit, as we anticipate the Rapture of the Church, the removal of the Restrainer, the arrival of the Antichrist, the seven years of Tribulation, the return of Jesus Christ, and the millennial kingdom.  Knowing this timeline of historical and prophetic events helped put what I was reading into perspective, for I now know where we are on God’s prophetic calendar. The title of this sermon is: “ The Arrival of the Antichrist – The Man of Sin Revealed” – 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. In this sermon, we will delve into the biblical prophecy of the Antichrist, exploring who he is, his role in the end times, and how we can prepare for his arrival.
