“The Gospel of the Kingdom” Matthew 24:1-14

The second group is called Kingdom Now or Dominionists, who believe it is the Church’s responsibility to rid the world of evil in order to usher in the return of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. They believe God lost control over the world to Satan when Adam and Eve sinned and that God is now raising up “Joel’s Army” to claim dominion over the earth for the Lord. While I will be delighted to see the end of the Biden era, which I believe has been the most ungodly, anti-Christian, and anti-Jewish administration in my lifetime, I don’t believe it is in our best interest to establish another totalitarian regime, even if it is supposedly based on biblical principles. The New Apostolic Reformation blends charismatic practices with a strong emphasis on politics and cultural transformation. If these movements are allowed to “take over” the evangelical churches, Christians will have abandoned its fundamental mission to get the whole gospel to the whole world. In Mathew 24:14, Jesus told His disciples, “ This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

However, with the rise of “TRUMPISM,” there are several groups that believe this is the time to encourage Christians to rise up and reclaim “dominion” over the seven major aspects of our culture.

In John 18:36, Jesus told the Pharisees, “ My kindom is not of this world.”

Near the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus made His last visit to the Temple in Jerusalem.

In 1 Corinthians 3:8-17, the Apostle Paul discussed the materials that should and should not be used in “building” of the Church.

There is no biblical or prophetic basis for the NAR or Kingdom Now movement – it will not advance the arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven.
