The truth about creation is foundational to a biblical worldview as it substantiates the existence of a deity known as God! In other words, the knowledge of the existence of God is before the eyes of every person on earth, for He has revealed Himself in what He created, and how He created it. It is understandable by every person, regardless of their language or intellect, therefore no one can stand before God and plead ignorance. Beloved, we must not stop teaching the Book of Genesis because it differs with the secular theories of the origin of the universe and mankind. We must be prepared to give our children “faith-based” answers to their questions, for without a solid understanding of the “Who” of creation, they will not understand the “why” of our salvation!

A Worldview is a framework through which one sees and interprets the world, including its origin, purpose, and future. To have a biblical worldview:
The Book of Genesis was written by Moses around 1400 BC, right after he had led the children of Israel out of Egypt. Genesis is the “seed-plot” of the whole Bible – the foundation of the gospel story, as the essential doctrines of the Christian Faith are introduced in the first 11 chapters!
The key verse is Genesis 1:1 – “In beginning, God created heaven and earth!” (Hebrew Bible)
The intricate design of creation demonstrates the deliberate, methodical, purposeful plan of God.
The Book of Genesis is not an allegory, as some liberal theologians would have us believe.
The design of God’s creation parallels the pattern of the design and construction of the tabernacle and the temple:
The design of God’s creation is also a picture of our salvation through Jesus Christ.
God revealed Himself to us through the design of His creation. Because God has spoken:
Do we dare go on living as though we have not heard Him?
