“The Corruption of Truth” Jude 1-25

Wednesday night at 6:00 PM, we will continue our study of the Book of Jude as we look at the philosophy of postmodernism. Postmodernism is an intellectual philosophy that challenges established objective truths, even the notion of absolute truth, in order to maintain its intellectual, economic, and political power over the people. Now, just put your thinking caps on for a moment, and you will see how this radical change in the basic philosophy of life over 300 years ago has manifested itself in the corruption of truth in which we live today. Postmodernism was first introduced into the Ivy League schools of higher learning, then into major colleges and universities, including seminaries, and finally into classrooms and churches. Postmodernism exploded in 1925 in the battle between the Bible’s account of creation and Darwin’s theory of evolution. Postmodernism is expressed today in whether a fetus is a human being, or whether a man can become a woman or a woman can become a man, how children can choose their own gender, including undergoing the radical surgeries and the medical manipulation of their hormones to achieve their goal. Our children are paying a very high price for such confusion, and it isn’t over yet. We encourage you to review the attached study guide and share it with others who may benefit.
