Wednesday at 6:00 PM, we will continue our study of the Epistle of Jude, written by Jesus’ half-brother, Jude, warning those first-century Christians about the corrupt teachers who had infiltrated the church. Jude calls believers to “Earnestly Contend for the Faith” by standing firm against false doctrines, rejecting any level of moral compromise, but showing mercy to those who are struggling. In this sermon, the “Battle for Truth” examines the various versions of the gospel, which is a misnomer! There are over 4,000 recognized religions in the world, but even though Christianity is the largest, even within Christianity, there are at least 16 perversions of the gospel. So, Jude said, if we are to win the battle for truth, we must:
