“Living For Christ In a Crooked and Perverse Generation” Philippians 2:12-18

What we see happening in America and around the world today is nothing less than the evidence of God’s divine judgment upon this crooked and perverse generation. Mortal men do not have the power to create such a level of evil worldwide. The global events we are experiencing today, such as massive storms, deadly tornadoes, huge earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, fires, floods, and famines, are precursors to the major events that will occur during the Tribulation. According to God’s Word, while God’s judgment is not reversible, the people involved are redeemable , which is why God has called us to live for Christ in this crooked and perverse generation. In Philippians 2:14-16, Paul told the Christians in Philippi, “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.” We will delve deeper into this topic in our next sermon: “ Living for Christ in a Crooked and Perverse Generation.” This sermon will explain how we, as believers, can navigate these challenging times, and still live according to God’s will.
