“I Believe in Life Everlasting, Amen” John 3:1-16

We’ve come to our final sermon in our series on the Apostle’s Creed. The title of this sermon is: “I Believe in Life Everlasting, Amen!” Eternal life is more than an endless existence: there will be endless existence in hell, and the Book of Revelation calls that everlasting death. Eternal life is entering into the joy of Jesus, i.e., being with Jesus is the essence of heaven, it is what our eternal life is all about. In Psalm 16:11, David wrote: “ You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” That’s what heaven will be for eternity!
