When Jesus cried out from the cross , “It is finished,” God’s divine justice was satisfied, His blood was shed, our sins were forgiven, the sting of death was conquered, our salvation was secured, the price of our redemption was paid, and our righteousness was perfected.  And the fact that Jesus resurrected from the grave, just as He said He would be, proves that what He did on the cross for us was for real: Jesus is our Savior and our Lord.
