“From Thence He Shall Come to Judge the Quick and the Dead” Revelation 22:12-17

As we continue our sermon series through the Apostle’s Creed, we have come to that phrase, “From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.” According to Hebrews 9:27, the Bible says, “And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Plainly stated, every person, regardless of status, wealth, or power, will face their inevitable date with death, followed by God’s divine judgment. Those who receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord will stand before the “Judgment Seat of Christ,” to give account of the days of their lives, and then, to receive their crowns and rewards. Those who refused to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord will stand before the Lord at the “Great White Throne Judgment,” to be judged by their works, as well as their lack of faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
