The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the centerpiece of the Christian Faith. In 1 Corinthians 15:1-58, the Apostle Paul wrote, “ If Christ has not been raised from the dead, our sins have not been forgiven, our Christian Faith is in vain, there is no meaning and purpose to this life, and we have no hope for our future.” However, for Christians, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a historical event to be celebrated; it is the foundation for our daily lives , bringing us an unshakable hope and a profound purpose that guides our spiritual journey. In John 14:19, Jesus said, “Because I live, ye shall live also.” As the Gaither’s said in that great song of hope, “Because He lives, we can face tomorrow!” Even though the future is uncertain, we can find security in the certainty that God holds the future. His control over our lives is absolute, and He can make this life worth living for all who will receive His Son as their Savior and Lord.
